"Antrim Area ED"

Extremely disappointed by Antrim ED and Causeway ED. My 18 year old attended both these hospitals in mid March. After being advised to go by the  GP with their symptoms Causeway sent them home with “I think it is…..” Their symptoms worsened the next day so we took them to Antrim hoping to get the help they clearly needed. The triage nurse was extremely rude to them and despite them having a written letter of their symptoms by their aunt who is a GP the nurse told the other nurse not to read to it as it wasn’t on headed paper. The nurse also asked us if Causeway ED was closed that night. The care was clearly not there by the nursing team or indeed the Doctor we saw. We were basically laughed at and told to come back when symptoms got even worse. So disappointed by our NHS.
