We visited the Royal Children's Hospital in Belfast at A&E. Unfortunately my son was quite ill and needed some treatment. He is severely disabled and requires 247 care.
Whilst the staff were very attentive and helpful, the dinner we'd asked for never arrived and as a result my son wasn't fed that day. We were admitted to a very small room unsuitable for a wheelchair user with no hoist to help move him to and fro from the chair to the bed. He was also given an unsuitable bed for his needs.
Whilst his level of care was standard, we felt it could have been more tailored to his needs.
"Care could have been more tailored"
