My husband filled out the online triage form, on behalf of our teenage daughter. This was sent at just after 8am. It was not an urgent problem, but we both assumed a phone call would be received at some point during the day, to see whether our daughter would need to speak to a GP, or be offered an appointment. Well, we were not triaged, didn’t receive any call back, and at the end of the day, have been left with not knowing if we will need to complete another online triage form after the weekend, or the GP will eventually get back to us. Obviously, we would have chased the surgery today if my daughter’s condition had warranted it,(it was enough for her to be off school), but we still feel we should have received a telephone call. Not sure if this is the norm, but unhappy with a ‘triage’ system that doesn’t triage!.
