"My little boy getting his cast fitted"

About: Outpatients / Fracture Clinic

(as a parent/guardian),

My 3-year-old boy broke his leg and we had to visit the plaster room at FVRH to get his cast fitted. The nurses Claire and Nicole put my mind at ease and were fantastic with my wee one making sure he had the best experience possible and making it positive for him despite the pain he was in. Nothing was too much trouble when I had a few questions and the overall care experience was excellent throughout.

Dear Cam93

I am sorry to hear that your son has sustained a broken leg but glad that he had a positive experience in the department. We do try to put all our patients at the centre of what we do and do everything we can to make visits especially for children as pleasant as possible as we do not want to them to become scared of hospitals.

It will be my pleasure to pass on your feedback to the staff and wish your son a speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin McCloskey
