I was recalled in prison and I was soon approached by young lady who introduced her self as my recovery support worker from DARS.
She told me her name is Beth and she told me to feel free to tell her my drugs and alcohol use story. I don't know how to describe her approach, but in the short way I can say she was very kind, polite and very supportive and those facts make me feel comfortable to open up to her and tell her all my struggles.
I started receiving the support from DARS with the help of Miss Beth, Miss Abby and Mr Robert, they were really amazing and supportive. I went through my in-cell course and group lesson. All together it was very helpful and I am confident that the support I received and knowledge will help me to stay clean, responsible and focusing on my goal.
I am grateful to be through DARS support program, thanks to all of them for their support, they are amazing.
