I was in two departments, post operative and discharge wards. In both the staff were courteous yet not over familiar. although understaffed they worked extremely hard so that we as patients didn't feel any lack of care and attention. Information was shared, and what was discussed happened.

Only two negative observations: firstly a tap was left running in the discharge ward for over two hours and secondly could delays in operating slots be shared with patients. The first item could save the trust a whole load of money if taps are left running in every ward and secondly my wait of 8 and a half hours would have been less stressful had I been told to go for a walk or sit outside for half an hour.
