About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was very anxious for my recent hysteroscopy but the whole team - Surgeon & Nurses - were all so kind and patient. They made sure I felt in control at all times.  There was a complication post procedure and I was in a lot of pain, feeling very unwell. I felt quite vulnerable at this time but cannot fault any of the team. They really looked after me and ensured I felt fully better before I left. Sadly I interrupted their lunch break as they took turns looking after me...thank you all so much.

I am so pleased to read that your experience was so positive and that you were looked after well and received such a high level of care during your procedure in Gynaecology, despite the complication.

It is great that all the staff you encountered were kind and patient and allowed you to feel in control and that you felt so well cared for even through their lunchtime break.

I will make sure that the team receive your feedback and gratitude; I know they will appreciate it, as will other patients waiting for their procedures who may be feeling worried.
