"I was very pleased and they were very helpful"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / Radiology

(as a service user),

I arrived at A & E and was told that I would need an x-ray. They located the piece of glass, froze my hand, and got the glass out, that had been in there since January.

I was very pleased and they were very helpful and I can't thank her enough for the treatment I received. She was very patient trying to get the glass out as it had gone in deep.

Dear alanx65

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of our Minor Injuries Area. It must be a relief to have that piece of glass out which does sound to have been well and truly lodged. A bit of determination by my colleague appears to have done the trick.

I will share your post with the whole team and have confidence my colleague that addressed your needs gets to see it.

Best wishes

Gerry
