(as a service user),

I was apprehensive about attending this appointment as I thought I'd be judged.

The 2 nurses at the scan part were welcoming and pleasant and didn't judge me at all. I felt more relaxed as they spoke to me and treated me as a human being and not just a number. They explained all the steps to me and asked if I was ok to have the scan.

I felt more relaxed after my scan and was not so stressed about the next nurse.
