"Friendly staff made me feel at ease."

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

I was welcomed by friendly staff who introduced themselves I was seen at my appointment time and I was made to feel at ease - my questions were answered and the operation explained.

I suffer from white coat syndrome and took 2 weeks BP readings with me. Kath took a copy to the surgeon and asked me to bring them to the operation (taken 1 week before) at the end she took my BP which was fine. I was made comfortable for the rest that followed - all this done in an hour. Many thanks NHS.

Dear leopardsj67,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for the Eye Unit.

I am delighted to hear that you felt staff were welcoming, made you feel and ease, and that you were seen on time!

Also that your blood pressure returned to normal levels by the end of the appointmetn.

I will pass your feedback to the team.
