As an inpatient in Perth Royal Infirmary I requested a gluten free diet.
For lunch I was given a baked potato and a single thin slice of vegan cheese. No salad to bulk it up a bit, no soup or pudding or even a piece of fruit. I know times are hard but the ward staff were actually embarrassed to bring it to me.
