My Surgeon Mr Eskandar arranged to operate on me in March 2024. I had a Laparoscopic total Hysterectomy and Anterior repair.

Naturally I was very nervous on the morning of the operation, and I could not have wished for better treatment from the wonderful nurses who made me feel so at ease.

The surgical staff carried out the operation extremely efficiently, having had difficulty some years ago with anaesthetic which I mentioned to the anaesthetist, he explained very succinctly how he would administer this once again putting me at ease and the result following the operation was that I had no ill effect from the anaesthetic.

I was returned to Petter Ward to recover. Once again, the help and extremely proficient nursing staff were wonderful. I am so grateful that we have such a wonderful, dedicated set of people who work so hard to help others.

I am now at home four days after the operation on my road to recovery, which thanks to the Surgical team I believe will be in the not-too-distant future. Once again, my sincere thanks.

I'm glad that everything was explained to you and that the procedure went well and that you recovered well on the ward under the care of the nursing team.
