When I first attended I just thought more faceless faces here for the wage only and won't be interested, I believed that deeply, that this wasn't helpful and done nothin for me.
It was only when I got serious about trying to get clean and accessing the help offered that I realised none of that was true - and it was just me who wasn't listening, and nothin was being done for me bcus I wasn't helpin myself and not taking the help offered. I wasn't ready.
My worker is bang on and and does what she can for me. Basically I'm sayin it's not the workers job to get u clean, that's on yourself 100% but until and when you do decide to make that scary move they will support you and try to make the transition from addict to recovering addict as easy and simple as possible.
I needed to work with them and not fight and push them away to truly get the help I 100% was able to access.
Good luck people.
