"Constant updates and professional staff"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

I walked into the eye clinic on the off chance of being seen. A fuzziness developed in my eye while I was in town near the hospital. I live over 20 miles away so didn't want to go home and come another day.

I was treated with great courtesy by all involved and having been seen by a nurse I am now waiting to see a doctor. I have been given regular updates on what is happening regards when I was likely to be seen and who by.

I cannot speak too highly of the care and support I have received by pleasant, professional staff. Very much appreciated. Thank you everyone, congratulations and well done.

Dear uniformee94,

I am pleased to hear that an off chance visit was such a positive and helpful one for you. As I'm sure you can appreciate, our waiting lists in the NHS are very long, so it's great when we can help someone visiting and reassure them. Thank you for feeding back your positive experience,
