(as a service user),

I feel having support from Reconnect has helped me stay on the straight and narrow, I feel my worker Gemma was easy to work with and I felt it was easy to talk to her especially about my problems with child contact as she shared her own lied experience in this area.

I didn't feel pressured to engage and felt the support was flexible to meet my needs, a mixture of face to face and telephone contact. Just knowing someone was there to vent to when I needed gave me reassurance. I fell the support definitely helped me with my mental health, sharing my concerns/thoughts with someone who didn't judge me and sign posted me to other services for additional support.

Thank you for sharing your experience of working with Nottinghamshire Reconnect. It is so great to hear that you felt you had the right kind of support and that the team worked alongside you. It sounds as if the lived experience that Gemma shared was helpful, which is so great to hear as we know that peer support is such an integral part of the service.

It's great to hear too that in the service you found knowing support was there/accessible was also helpful.
