"Judgemental GP"

About: Patford House Partnership

GP was judgmental, and had very little understanding of autism. I went as I suspected my son is underweight. The GP we saw was extremely judgmental on my sons diet and told me it was all my fault, that I’m in control of my sons diet, and he’ll eat if he’s hungry. He wouldn’t listen to the fact my son is autistic and also has sensory issues. Meaning most of the time, he would rather starve than eat what’s been put in front of him.

I went to the GP for help, not to be told I’m a bad mother!
