My wife had to attend for surgery and on the day I called to ask for an update. The charge nurse answered my call and was so kind and helpful, I was given an update of how my wife was and how the surgery had gone and I was also invited up into the ward and offered me a hot drink while I waited for my wife to come back up from recovery.
The kindness and compassion shown by all the staff really made my day so much better.
