"Excellent Service - Great teamwork"

I have now been fully discharged after having a robot assisted radical prostatectomy.

The preoperative investigations were extensive, extremely thorough. During this time the care, kindness, communication and information was extensive. The seminar held for all prospective patients and their partners was innovative. Having this level of information about the procedures and post-operative care left no surprises and in my view aided a rapid recovery. The close teamwork that clearly takes place in this department is impressive. During the time when face to face consultations were not possible I always felt supported by the quality of the telephone contact and subsequent communication with my GP practice. The urology and andrology team who were responsible for my care and treatment should be commended. This level and quality of service (particularly the teamwork) is not available privately.

I am now fully discharged and free of my original condition.
