About: Maternity care (Ward 31) / Labour suite maternity Maternity care (Ward 31) / Maternity care (Ward 31)

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted for an induction process and my journey from start to finish was the was absolutely faultless. 

The consent, care and attention was impeccable and I cannot thank the staff enough!! 

My labour ward midwife Arlene and her wonderful student from the minute we met you made me feel so at ease and I could tell you every worry in the world and that you genuinely  cared about my worries and concerns, from the laughs and jokes we had throughout my labour  to the complete silence of contractions you understood me.

After the arrival of our baby boy the gratitude that I have for the whole team that worked with our baby and myself I will never be able to explain. 

The ward 31 midwives, all I can say is outstanding, such a friendly bunch of staff who again absolutely faultless!! 

Thank you again RAH maternity unit, I couldn’t have done it if it wasn’t for you! And a special mention to Mandy in ward 31 for getting those papers awful fast for me, I told you I would leave you a review haha!!

I am delighted to read that you have had such a positive experience and have felt so supported during your stay at the RAH. I will make sure that Arlene receives this feedback and she can share with her student midwife – It sounds like they have made a lasting impression on your experience sharing in such a special time with the support they have given you. It is lovely to hear that you have been so well supported on the ward both during your induction of labour and postnatally after the birth of your son. Mandy is one of our newer members of the team and doing an amazing job. I will definitely share this with her - she will be delighted.
