If you get an appointment they’re great, lovely - bit of a wait time once you get there but not the worst.

But that’s if you get an appointment - and that’s so unlikely in my experience.

I have been trying to call since September (it’s March!) trying to book in my Depo-Provera injection top up and I never get through!

Completely unacceptable.

Thank you Em2001 for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble getting through to our service.

Our online booking system, PHR has recently become live and patients are able to access appointments for Devon Sexual Health within that booking system. If you find yourself uncomfortable with doing this, please contact us on 0300 303 3989. Hopefully we can get this resolved for yourself as soon as possible.

Thank you for your quick response, however the booking system is not advertised anywhere on the phone number when it’s called. I found out via deep in the google reviews (as I'm not the only one with the same complaint) that this is an option - and even then, I had to dig through the website. It’s not accessible at all - which is dangerous for those who desperately need contraception.

And the number advised to call if I’m not comfortable doing it online - when I call no one ever picks up! Thus my complaint in the first place, and why I haven’t been able to get my contraception since September.
