About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine

(as a service user),

After contacting 111 I was directed to attend ED department due to an allergic reaction. I was triaged within 10 minutes, bloods then taken and seen by physicians associate, medications prescribed and discharged home all within the space of 1 hour. 

All the staff were polite, professional and very efficient. All introduced themselves by name and position. My daughter was with me and is a student nurse, the SCN Darren took the time to explain everything about the department and process giving her an educational experience also!

Much appreciation to all as I know they work extremely hard in challenging conditions.
