About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Emergency Dental Treatment Centre Level 1

(as a service user),

I experienced a partial breakage of one my upper molars and had been so anxious about attending a dentist in order to receive treatment.

Due to my pain, I could no longer hold off and so I called NHS 24. I was offered an appointment for that evening and was treated by Andrew and Gayle at the Sauchiehall dental hospital.

They acknowledged my nervousness, made conversation and helped me to feel at ease. They were friendly, patient and explained each step of the way. I appreciate all their help and want to recognise their gentleness with me.

Dear Megan 24

On behalf of the Emergency Dental Out of Hours Service many thanks for taking the time to provide such positive feedback.

I was sorry that experienced pain with your molar but it was good to hear that you were very happy with the treatment you received and that both Andrew and Gayle made you feel at ease.

It is very much appreciated when patients take the time to feedback and I will ensure that this is shared with the dental team and in particular, Andrew and Gayle.

With best Wishes

Julie
