"The lifting chair she used was amazing!"

About: Community Services - North Devon / Urgent Community Response (UCR)

(as a relative),

My husband fell yesterday and needed help to regain his feet.

He pressed his pendant alarm to call for help.

Careline then asked the Urgent Community Response Team (UCR) to assist.

This was a much easier process than previous similar episodes. Once he was on the floor for over ten hours.

I kept getting follow up phone calls before the team arrived which I found very reassuring. UCR response time was very good.

When Naomi the paramedic from UCR arrived I thought how on earth is she going to lift him from the floor, but the lifting chair she used was amazing.

Thank you all very very much
