"I am angry and lost as to what to do"

About: Alexandra Hospital / Dermatology

(as a service user),

I'm currently at a loss for what to do, my dermatologist left the NHS i last year and i wasn't informed. I chased the secretary multiple times and was unable to get in contact until recently. I have been told i'm on a list and to await contact.

It has been a further 2 months and all other avenues have left me with no solution. I am off meds and developing very painful skin, i have it developing in areas i wish it wouldn't and i'm very angry with the NHS. I am likely going to get to a point were i cannot work and i will put further strain on services if this happens.

Couldn't a temporary dermatologist sign off on my meds for the period of wait? The suggested solution is steroids long term while i wait and i will not put my body through that.

I am angry and lost as to what to do.  The system feels broken, just struggles to pretend it's helping.
