1st time mum giving birth in early March. Care during the birth was next to nothing the midwives were so good. Reassuring me during a very panicked c section.
However on the day of discharge we waited around all day till 5pm only to be told we had to leave our room and go to the discharge lounge to await discharge meds. I had only had my c section 2 days prior. And was left to sit in what looked like a storage closet for a few more hours with a newborn in a car seat. Sat on a chair with No evening pain relief made available either. I actually think it got to the stage we were forgotten about. Added a lot of unnecessary stress.
