"Care and support could not be faulted"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedics Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

I fell at the top of Dumyat in the Ochills and had to be stretchered down by the Ochills Mountain Rescue team. Paramedics also attended the top of the hill to assist. All of the support to get down and into hospital was amazing and really supportive.

The team in A & E were great and I needed emergency procedures by an orthopaedic team. All of the medical and nursing team were incredibly professional and care and support could not be faulted. On admission to Ward B23 I have been provided with excellent care and support. Nurses, Student Nurses, Medics and the Ortho Surgical Team, the Recovery Team,  OT's, Physio's, Healthcare Support Workers, Porters and the Ancillary team were all so good. I am really impressed and would really like my thanks and feedback to be passed on.

I am a nurse myself so this experience of such a high quality health service has been really welcome. All of the team involved in my care have enabled what could have been quite a difficult few days to be positive. The biggest thanks and respect to each and every one of them .

Dear Very Proud Patient

Thank you for sharing your story. It must have been a very worrying time so it is nice to read that you are happy with the care you received.

If you would like me to pass on your thanks to the ambulance crew that attended could I ask that you contact our Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, Care Opinion name and the date of the incident.

I do hope that you are recovering well.

Kindest regards

Dave
