I had an acute illness recently and was admitted to the Surgical Assessment Unit at Forth Valley Hospital.
From time of admission till discharge home I was treated with care and respect by all members of staff in the ward , the porters and radiology staff.
The standard of care is exceptional and everyone is friendly and happy to help. Even when busy nothing was too much trouble (a hairdryer was found for me to use in moments!) I felt safe and was kept informed as to what was going on. I was kept pain free.
The beds were comfortable and the standard of hygiene is absolutely exceptional. The food was nutritious and tasty , delivered hot with kindness and care.
All staff showed candor with a skilled sensitivity. Every student nurse, a high level of care and understanding.
All in all an experience to ensure optimal healing. Thank you .
