"Her support is so helpful and reassuring"

My health visitor Diane has visited us a few times since my baby was born and I find her advice so helpful.

I had an image of health visitors that they would be coming to inspect or give you into trouble for things but I have realised this is a really old fashioned way of thinking, as Diane could not be more opposite!

She gives me a range of information and encourages me to use my instinct to see what I feel is best for my baby, rather than being told what I should and shouldn’t do. She is always on hand to ask questions and as I am a first time mum, I feel this support is so helpful and reassuring.

I feel comfortable when she is in my house and she is very down to earth and approachable!
