Ward b22 came here following a car accident,On the 10th of oct 2013. Only one nurse that helped, she was compassionate and careing, was on a ward with many dementia patients who were having hip operations who had to wait hours to get a drink or if they asked for a cup of tea well the faces of the nurses could tell you how much they care. One night a new lady came on ward after having a hip opertions,,she thought the needle in her hand was a watch i informed one of the nurses on night shift the i think she may pull it out,she just gav me a dirty look and walked away with not a care in the world..then the lady pulled it out i pressed the buzzer and 20 mins nurse arrived but by this point i had to deal with the situation my self ,blood every where, nurses turning taps on at 11.30pm at night left on for half hour when she returned i asked why did you turn taps on we were confused, she said tap check in a very abrupt voice, the other 80 year old lady was left to choke on own vomit nures never came when buzzer pressed on the night shift,i was in following a car accident as a driving instructor i was on B22 to rest my spine but what rest its only human to help when people are suffering. The lady is somebodys mother grandmother and should of been treated with care and respect,,only nurse who did was one, she worked so hard and thank you so much to her compassion and care,,,got so much more to tell which as left me so upset will never forget the lovely ladies i met was such a shame they were treated in such away adsolutely discussing and very upsetting indeed...
