"Defeats the object of having a booking system"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute) / Clinical haematology

(as a service user),

Poor system, the bloody taking unit requires patients to book in using ‘swiftqueue’ however people just randomly turn up and are let in to have a blood test. Which then defeats the object of having a booking system, while I was stood waiting to book in I heard 3 people in front of me not have appointments but got seen before me.

Which in turn factored in making me late for work - which gets docked from my pay. Ridiculous

Good afternoon,

Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review on your experience.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not had a positive experience when visiting the Blood Taking Unit at NGH and that you were late back to work as a result of having to wait for your blood test (even after using swiftqueue). We understand how frustrating this must have been for you.

We shall ensure your feedback is forwarded on to the relevant staff about your experience.

With best wishes

Sara Francis
