I just wanted to write a quick message to say how unbelievable the staff on the labour ward in the Ulster Hospital are.

I recently had my baby girl and the midwives went over and above to look after my daughter, husband and I. In particular was the induction bay midwives Rhonda who took her time to explain the induction process and then during delivery and after was a maternity assistant Hannah who could not have done more for us. Nothing was too much for her and I hope she follows her dream of becoming a midwife one day as she would be an asset to the team. 

Downstairs the maternity ward staff assisted with breastfeeding and and reassured me it was going well and pointed me in the direction of the BFF aftercare breastfeeding team as well who have been fab.

Honestly cannot thank everyone enough. 

Maybe see you all again in a few years time.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter, I hope you are both doing well.

As a busy new mother we appreciate the time you have taken you post your response. It can be a daunting experience coming for induction of labour and I am glad to hear that Rhonda and Hannah were there to support and reassure you through this process.

Thank you also for your kind feedback on the care that you received in the maternity ward. It is important that new mothers are supported with their infant feeding choice and I am delighted that the team were there to point you in the right direction.

I will share your post with Rhonda and Hannah as well as the wider labour ward and Maternity ward team. We appreciate your positive feedback and once again I would like to thank you for your kind words.
