My health visiting team were truly fantastic following birth of my second son. They were understanding of my wishes, empathetic to our challenges, offered support and made themselves available.

It was a stark contrast to the service after my first born, proving that lots of improvements have been made - particularly the introductory visit before birth. This came with lots of info and reassurance.

I've had the same HV throughout, which has helped keep someone who is aware of our circumstances. She is extremely supportive and I am very sure that I would have given up breastfeeding had it not been for her support, referrals, advice and understanding.

The service has also given me quick access to things like physio, mental health and check-ups for my son. I've been well looked after this time.
