I have suffered with irregular bleeding for 4 years, i have been monitored and attended regular ultrasounds.
I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis after a transvaginal scan and was told i would be seen in clinic and have another scan. When i went for the next scan they told me there was now no sign of adenomyosis and they were discharging me.
I complained to my GP as i was still bleeding everyday for my 8th week. I was prescribed some medications to help the bleeding and was told i would be referred to Saint Marys - Manchester Foundation Trust as an urgent referral. I had not heard anything and called in September 2023 and they told me to ring my GP and ask them to refer me to the emergency gynae clinic (which my doctors did). It's now been 8 months and I've still not heard anything.
I have history of pelvic inflammatory disease. My issues are continually getting worse and i cannot get hold of anyone and have not had any communication from the new gynaecologists. Within the 8 months i have been waiting my bleeding is getting worse and the medication i have been given is not working, i am suffering with cramps and severe bloating. I am suffering with hot flashes and i cannot keep a stable temperature. I am bleeding after sex and i am suffering with a really dry vagina which is making day to day life difficult.
I am so tired and upset as this is affecting my daily life, i cannot do things i want to do and be the fun parent to my child as i am constantly bleeding or in some form of discomfort.
"Have not had any communication"
