This is a short story about my son's experience and short stay at the children's ward.
I phoned out of hours at 9 pm with concerns about my son's health. After a short time on hold i was able to speak to a medical professional who advised an out patient appointment for the following morning. When we arrived, we were asked to wait for a short time, and then my son was seen by a dr who advised some more tests across the road in the children's ward.
As soon as we arrived into my son's room we were introduced to Paul who would be looking after my son during his short stay. From the moment Paul stepped into the room he made us feel so much better about the situation and made my son feel so much better. He went and got my son an xbox and made him laugh, even in what we thought was a serious situation. He was so kind and patient and he's made a huge impact on my son and I'm sure he'll remember him for a long time. All the staff working at that time were so kind and helpful and we couldn't thank them all enough.
