"Very dismissive with me"

About: Outpatients / Outpatients Department 4 (Maternity)

(as the patient),

Was having problems with, acid reflux and excessively bad breath. My doctor put in a referral as they thought it was coming from stomach problems. Got an appointment with a doctor. They were very dismissive with me and said a few times they don't really know why I got a referral. They seemed to be implying my problems were trivial. There was a test they could do to measure the reflux but as I was pregnant they said it was off the cards which was understandable. Though it seemed as if they couldn't wait to get rid of me. No advice or any other help. Was a waste of time. Now I'm not pregnant I'm hopefully getting referred again. I hope its not to see the same doctor.
