About: South West Acute Hospital / Emergency Care and Medicine Services

(as a service user),

I attended SWAH A&E with my father and the standard of care provided has been second to none.

Every staff member, receptionist, nurses (Buta and Margaret) Dr Graham, morning staff (auxillary), all showed wonderful compassion and respect to us both. Their communication was excellent putting my father at his ease.

Excellent person centred care by everyone.

It gives a great sense of pride to read your kind comments about the standard of care your father received while a patient in out department. THANK YOU. I see good communication as the ART of effective care, and appears the care your father received by our staff, is a shining example of this. I shall ensure that all staff are made aware of your opinions and comments. I shall speak with those individuals you have singled out.
