Was greeted by a lovely receptionist, waited on my name getting shouted and went through. Nurse dealing with me told me everything that was going to happen, was very anxious although I've this procedure 4 times before.
Nurse kept popping in to see if a was OK, then theatre staff came up to double check consent forms and know what I was getting done (a nerve root block ). Nurse made me so comfortable going down, even held my hand and made sure my dignity was intact at all times during the procedure - I didn't catch her name but she was an all round lovely person.
Back onto ward, the girls noticed I was awful red and phoned surgeon to reassure me it would have been the steroids. All round a lovely experience due to the friendly staff. Still off my feet, roll on weekend for pain free time with my wee girl, and no doubt I'll see yous in another few months.
