About: Day Surgery / Day Surgery Surgical University Hospital Hairmyres / Elective Orthopaedics (Ward 7)

(as the patient),

So..I was recently in UHH for a knee replacement

Was supposed to be out that same day, but of course, me being me, was in till the Sunday 🤦‍♀️

Anyway, all of the staff from the DSU - right through to Ward 7 from Domestics, CSW and nursing staff (special mention to the ANP Julie? Who was fantastic) -  were simply amazing!!

I know there was a few bank staff on that weekend and you are all amazing!

As a nurse myself, seeing it from the patient's side was statangs and I sincerely hope I was not that patient 😂

So thank you to each and every one of you, and a special special mention to my anaesthetist, Vera, could not have done it without her!

You are all amazing

Thank you for taking the time to share such positive feedback following your knee replacement. Your lovely comments will be shared with all the staff mentioned as well as the wider team.
