""Great practice" from a wonderful team!"

I could not have wished for a better orthorpaedic surgeon,

anaesthetist and wonderful theatre nurses when I had my knee replacement at Thornbury Hospital.

I feel very privileged to have been cared for by such a great team, second to none and I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone in my position facing surgery.

During my treatment I have also met with a great physiotherapist team and lovely catering staff and most caring nurses though sadly not all.

I found the first nurse that was allocated to my care to be confrontational and argumentative which made me feel anxious prior to my operation and not very helpful afterwards and did not enjoy meeting her.

However everyone else had a professional and helpful attitude and it was lovely to be greeted by their smiling faces and I appreciated their kindness and care.
