"Looked after our mum with such kindness"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Palliative Care START, short term assessment and review service

(as a relative),

My family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the community palliative team - End of Life,  START team and the nurses.  The care, compassion and utmost respect they showed to our mum was second to none. During an extremely challenging time for us they were like guardian angels, not only looking after our mum with such kindness and care but also supporting the family.

We could not have fulfilled our mother’s last wishes without them and for that we are eternally grateful. No words can express how thankful we are.  What an amazing team. We are so very lucky to have them.

Thank you for taking the time to share such positive feedback at such a difficult time.

I will share your feedback with the specialist palliative care team who I am sure will appreciate that you felt they had supported you at such a challenging time for you and your family.

I am really pleased your mum got her wish to come home and have her family around her and I am glad that our team were able to support you.

Take care.

Kindest regards
