"Paramedic staff"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a parent/guardian),

10/10 for the fantastic service from the paramedics who attended to my 11-month-old.

Rhona & Edward ( I think!!) were absolutely fantastic from start to end. My two older children who are autistic are obsessed with ambulances/police etc, and when they found this out they let my girls help them with their machines etc, they made my girls so happy!

And then on the way to hospital Edward just put me at ease and made me feel calm, telling me everything was okay & making me feel understood, he was so so kind, and I just felt totally at ease having him as our paramedic on the way to hospital, he was great fun trying to keep my baby happy, and he was just all round a really caring individual.

I hope they both see this because I am beyond thankful for their kindness towards me and my girls. Thank you so much again guys xx ( I hope his name was Edward lol)

Dear kbxx

Thank you so much for getting in touch with your wonderful feedback. I read your post with the biggest smile. It sounds like Rhona and Edward have done a wonderful job and how lovely they managed to make time to spend with your older children too, I am sure they thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with them.

It must have been a worry, however having to call for our services initially for your youngest child but it does sound as though Rhona and Edward took charge of the situation and really helped to put you at ease, which is super. I do hope baby is feeling much better and now on the mend

I would be delighted to pass on your kind words to Rhona and Edward if that's ok with you? As all posts are anonymous, the only way we would be able to identify the staff would be if you contacted our team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your child's name, address and date of call out. Please may I kindly ask you do this and I will be sure to arrange this for you.

Thank you once again.

All the very best to you and your family

Lesley
