"Very kind, caring and considerate"

About: Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50) / Labour suite maternity

(as a relative),

I wanted to thank everyone at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the help and support with the birth of my daughter.

Would like to thank the anaesthetic staff for my great epidural !  And all the  medical staff! Most of all would like to thank my amazing midwife- Nelly -who was very kind, caring and considerate. She was very patient with me despite the language barrier. Very supportive and encouraging!

I can’t thank her enough for everything she did. I never felt alone at any point of my labour despite not having my husband present. I will never forget the care Nelly provided me . Will forever be grateful. Thanks.

Dear moonsp37,

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience here at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Maternity Unit and congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

It is great to read how great your epidural was and how kind, caring and considerate Nelly was, supporting you during your labour and birth and overcoming a language barrier to ensure that you felt supported and encouraged and neve felt alone.

I will ensure that your gratitude is passed on to Nelly and our teams in Labour ward.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Gaynor
