"Reassuring nurses in theatre"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter asked me to post this following a procedure in Day Surgery,  Wishaw Hospital last month.  My daughter states from the moment she was admitted to the ward then discharged her experience was positive.  All staff were professional,  friendly and caring.

My daughter was really scared about the procedure however states the nursing staff in theatre reassured her. On returning to the ward the nursing staff were attentive and ensured my daughter was not in pain. The nurse discharging my daughter gave clear and concise information on post surgery do's and dont's,  very friendly and professional .thank you for looking after my daughter.

It can be a worrying time having family in hospital so it is very re-assuring to read that your daughter was well cared for and that staff were very friendly and professional.
