"The ward team were amazing"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Urology

(as a relative),

A close relative had been struggling with blood in his urine.  He'd attended out of hours services but he unfortunately had to be admitted in pain and got a catheter in A&E.

He was transferred to Ward 5c, and the staff were amazing - especially staff nurse Alison, support worker Andrew, and staff nurse Beata. The urology team investigated and unfortunately it wasn't good news but a new cancer.  The team were supportive and kind, and gave a lot of reassurance and advice about his discharge and what to do if things go wrong.  He's now able to recover at home before deciding treatments.

The ward team were amazing and have made a very difficult time a lot easier.  Please pass this on and thank them.
