On entering the unit the staff were very friendly, smiling and really busy. They walked with patients rather than direct them to the next place to sit and wait. Offered and brought water to those waiting for transport pick ups and let them know how long it would be.
I was seen by D/N Stephanie who again was so friendly, showed an interest in you as a person as well as a patient. I heard her also thanking a colleague who helped her out that morning with extra duties.
This unit has lots of long term staff who has been there for years proving its a happy environment.
Before I retired this year I use to bring my elderly clients up for appointments and I can say it was always a good, friendly well managed unit.
