About: New Victoria Hospital / Ophthalmology

This is the best care and treatment my dad and me have ever had in a hospital environment.

My dad has Alzheimer’s and each member of staff in the opthalmology department treated him with complete care and dignity.

His nurse, Silvy, was excellent at her job and despite being run of her feet she always checked in on my dad. Another nurse, Caoimhe, was also brilliant and checked on him regularly.

Our teams are committed to maintaining high standards and often go above and beyond to ensure quality patient care. We understand Alzheimer's disease is very complex and patients often require additional support; I am pleased to hear our teams provided a high level of care to your father and that this offered you assurance.
