About: NHS 24 / Breathing Space (Phoneline)

(as a service user),

I have used Breathing Space a few times recently as I had been completely overwhelmed with some things that had happened recently including ill health of my partner, and domestic and alcohol abuse. I felt lonely and isolated, especially at night.

Speaking with Breathing Space was a life saver. Another person to unpack feelings to and just listen to me made me feel better. Everyone was kind and listened, but special mention to Geraldine and Gillian who were fantastic with me. Got me through some dark points where I desperately struggled. I’m far from out of the woods yet but I’m so glad they were there.
