(as a relative),

My wife was naturally apprehensive about this appointment at patient blood management which precedes a hip replacement.

However from the moment we were met by Christiana and ushered in to the superbly arranged transfusion room, her fears disappeared.

The kindness and consideration shown plus the fullsome explanation of what was involved allayed fears and made it a clear and positive experience. The team were so focused and professional that we felt safe in their hands.

I am so pleased that the apprehension your wife was feeling disappeared when the appointment began. It is great that she was met with kindness, consideration and a high level of communication resulting in a positive experience. I am so pleased that the appointment went well.
