"Life changing operation"

I was originally receiving the greatest treatment for cancer of my left lung , I got half the lung out and went back to theatre to have the lung fully removed.

I encountered several complications and my consultant in Aberdeen referred me to Professor Kirk and Miss Whitely, who performed an operation that not only saved my life but has given me a far better quality of life than I had expected .

My family and myself are so extremely grateful to both Professor Kirk and Miss Whitely for their outstanding abilities and dedication to saving lives they are truly amazing people who have given me so many opportunities in life that I could have missed.

Mr Kahlil, my consultant in Aberdeen, has always gone above and beyond and he and Miss Whitely are a credit to Professor Kirk's mentoring.

Cardio thoracic Scotland have the most amazing team to be found
