"I’m so thankful for your care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I was seen chest discomfort stomach issues, got first class care. Had long wait, over 6 hours, however I watched really sick injured and mentally unwell people being cared for with patience  and compassion. My situation was well sorted (gallstones) and I await GP consultation to get further tests.

I viewed so much - police involved etc, all helping keep patients safe and helping individuals in a quiet and respectful manner.

I wish to thank all the staff who helped both myself and all the unfortunate people who found themselves in A&E at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. I do not know how you manage but I’m so thankful for your care .

Hi lonqf74

Thank you for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. I am delighted you had such a positive experience despite your long wait and whilst feeling unwell.

I hope you are on the mend now and further tests go well.

I will pass on your appreciation and kind words to all the team.

Thanks Debbie
